New OS and Upgrade

Recently I installed Ubuntu operating system in my ancient Dell Desktop and thereby bid adieu to Windows XP OS running on that machine. I have been really enjoying Ubuntu experience so far. I had installed 11.10 verision of Ubuntu and yesterday upgraded it to 12.04. It was really seamless and painless upgrade. The performance and speed of Ubuntu on such old piece of hardware is really surprising to me but I still am going to upgrade the RAM to see if performance is improved even further.

I will keep posting more about Ubuntu once I learn more about it myself
